Someday we are going to be living in a great house that my husband has built. Meanwhile however, we live in a mobile home. Living in this mobile home means inadequate storage space... everywhere. What cupboards are here are too tall if there are cupboards at all. I have no drawers in the kitchen and no shelves in the bathroom. This is very frustrating for a mom of 3 boys to organize.
As if being heard, Packaways threw an opportunity my way to review their reusable storage boxes. They sent me 2 of their classic boxes in 2 sizes and colors (neon green and pink). You heard Neon is going to be huge this year right? Anyways, these boxes are made out of corrugated plastic and are collapsible for easy storing. They also have these great panels for you to label them with dry erase markers so they can be wiped away for their next use.
You just press on the opposing corners and the bottom pops into place. Here is a picture of how it holds with the tab that goes into the slot.
First off, these boxes have style. I love the colors and I love that they are super easy to use and store away. I use them to put pillow cases and extra blankets in on my two shelves over my washer and dryer. The pink one is a tad big for the space but for right now its much neater than a stack of them toppling over. The plastic is great and the wipe off label panels are very useful. I think these are a great product and are everything they claim to be.
My only criticism to these boxes are the price which to me makes them slightly impractical. I would use them as I use my storage bins (being half the price) and would not typically need to collapse them. If you are in need of storage boxes you can store away later, then by all means these would be great for you, they are just a little out of my budget for how many I would need to replace my current bins.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
